Anyways, at long last, this is the latest. The famous bust of the Egyptian queen Nerfertiti, [link] , Shego-fied.
Fun fact- When this bust was completed, it was considered too beautiful, and they were afraid it would offend the gods, that humans were able to challenge their divine beauty. As a result, the painter left one eye partially painted, to serve as a flaw.
I took two courses of art history. And I found that any post-renaissance art isn't worth appreciating. My faves were always Bernini and Bouguereau. How about yours?
This Nefertiti bust now in the Berlin Museum was found buried in Amarna, Egypt a century ago. An alternate explanation is that it was deliberately defaced by iconoclasts when the Aten cult was overthrown during the New Kingdom.
...Dammit, I can't think of a good quote. Pretty much anything he said in The Magnificent Seven.
Nefertiti remains the perfect beauty for me to this day.
Shego is a worthy contestant however.
Bon Voyage!
